This leather binding was created for “American Gods” and required the production of six stamping dyes.
Props
Our studio has produced work for Hollywood movies, local and American television shows and stage productions. By using the different techniques of bookbinding within the constraints of our hand bookbinding equipment, we create props that are designed and built to the exact specifications of the production. Our most recent works has included pieces for Guillermo del Toro’s “Frankenstein”, and the television series “IT: Welcome to Derry”, “Star Trek: Starfleet Academy”, “Station Eleven” and others.
Beyond theatrical props, we often produce prop books for architectural use. Our studio has made at least 1000 'fake' books as decoration for different condominium and hotel lobbies.

These books are all from our work on the Guillermo Del Torro film "Frankenstein" in 2023/2024. We made over 100 individual books for this production, with many of the books being made in multiples of up to 8 copies.
